3 Ways to Tell Insecurity to Move On
They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure; they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.” Psalm 112:7-8 (NIV)
This is a really good week to talk about insecurity. Fear and anxiety go hand in hand with insecurity and I have battled both this week.
Our daughter has been ill which can bring on fear and her friend anxiety easy enough. Throw in a mad dash to the ER one night, a short hospital stay, a few questions that didn’t have obvious answers, and I’m starting to get that quivering feeling within.
When my Louisiana writer friend, Alisa Nicaud at Flourishing Today, invited me to share my story about overcoming insecurity I had no idea that the week before my guest post was to publish, I would be given the opportunity to practice these steps.
God has a wonderful way of preparing us for days ahead, doesn’t He?
