Money Is An Important Chapter In the Book of Love
“Owe no one anything, except to love each other” Romans 13:8, ESV
We live in a world where debt seems to be accepted as a necessary part of life. All too often financial obligations versus income is so out of balance our relationships suffer.
When we work together as a couple to set healthy boundaries on our money, we no longer need to dread the mailman or fear the ring of our phones. New opportunities become available for planning our family’s future. Our eyes are no longer solely focused on ourselves and we become free to be givers. Sowing financial seeds in God’s ministries and those in need around us brings lasting rewards – today and in eternity.
- How do you define the phrase, “owe no one anything”?
- Do you feel we are on the same page financially?
- What are three concrete ways we can reduce our family’s debt?
